November 11th Program
QUILTING, COLOR & TEXTURE MATTER
Leah describes herself as a multi-crafter who has worked in the fiber arts since she was taught to knit at the age of 5. She has dabbled in almost every fiber art since then, including crochet, weaving, and silk painting, as well as quilting. She studied textile design and worked in the industry long before all these wonderful people started flooding us with great fabric. Now that she is retired, she also creates mosaics and gives walking tours of downtown Los Angeles through the Los Angeles Conservancy. In addition, Leah enjoys leading children on walking tours at the USC-Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena.
Leah loves finding new places to explore in southern Calfiornia and in any other new place she lands in. She feels fortunate to travel with her husband and is thrilled to be both a mother and a grandmother. You can follow her blog at Noidlehandshere.com
